We advise you on choosing the right bench scales
When selecting a suitable bench scale, requirements for the device such as the weighing range, resolution or reproducibility of results as well as physical characteristics such as the material of the scale play a role. External factors such as external interference or process requirements also place additional demands on an industrial scale. Choosing the right interface is also essential to ensure that the bench scale can communicate seamlessly with the existing devices.
Frequently asked questions
In which industries are bench scales used?
Bench scales are scales that can be placed on tables or work surfaces. They are used to precisely measure the weight of objects. Bench scales are used in various areas and applications, including
- Laboratories: Bench scales are used in scientific laboratories to weigh small quantities of substances or samples. Precise measurements are crucial in research and analysis.
- Industry: In industrial production, bench scales are used to weigh components or products. This can be part of a quality control process to ensure that products contain the correct amount of material.
- Pharmacies: Bench scales are used in pharmacies to measure the exact quantity of medicines or other substances contained in medicines.
- Food industry: In food production and processing, bench scales are used to measure ingredients and ensure the correct quantity for recipes.
- Bakeries: In bakeries, bench scales can be used to measure the exact quantity of ingredients such as flour, sugar or yeast for the production of bread and baked goods.
